Plumstead Early Years Centre
Our full day nursery is located in Plumstead, SE18 and is set within Plumstead Early Years Centre. Established in September 2009 and being run by Home-Start Greenwich since September 2016. Most families have come to us with returning siblings or via a recommendation from a friend or relative.
Our Nursery provides full Day care as well as sessional care and education to meet the needs of government funded 15- and -30-hour childcare places.
We are dedicated to offering the most accommodating provision of childcare possible without compromising the child’s well-being or the quality of care. All staff are appropriately qualified, and we are regulated and inspected by Ofsted.
Plumstead Early Years Centre
Our Nursery is fully inclusive offering government funded hours alongside additional hours for working families and together for Twos spaces for the most vulnerable families. Our nursery has a large outside area’s offering a range of activities for outdoor play, also Forest school experiences are part of our everyday practice enabling children to experience the natural environment within our Forest school area. Plumstead Day Nursery has a fully operational working kitchen where food is prepared daily by our experience cook.
All food is prepared using the highest ingredients.
Our menus are well balanced and nutritious and follow all government guidelines.
Our menus are seasonal and planned on a four-week cycle and displayed for parents/carers.

Open Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm
Rooms
Ducklings: 6 months – 2 year olds
Rabbits: 2 years
Owls: 3 & 4 years olds
Session Times
All Day – 8am to 6pm
AM – 8am to 1pm
PM – 1pm to 6pm
All children must attend for a minimum of 2 sessions per week.

Opened Sept 2024 and is open 8.45am to 3.45pm Monday to Friday, 38 weeks per year offering: full or half day sessions 8.45am to 11.45am or 12.45pm to 3.45pm
All nurseries can offer both 15 or 30 funded hours
